12/01/2016. Due to the devastating fires in and around Gatlinburg, A Walk in the Woods presently is operating on a limited basis. Our office is undamaged and all of our guides are safe and accounted for.   At this time, Gatlinburg is still evacuated and parts of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park remains closed.  Thanks to all of you who have reached out to check on us.
